FUM Kids

Festival of the Arts

 

Our second annual FUM Kids festival will be held June 25-29 this year.  It is for children entering First Grade in the fall of 2012 through children entering Sixth Grade this fall.  The early registration fee is $25 for the week, after May 31 the cost is $35 and for kids only in town for a day or two there is a fee of $10 per day

 

This year we will begin each day in the choir room with 25 minutes of singing fun songs.  After that each student will choose (in advance) from seven classes that are being offered.  They will have the opportunity to take four of the classes.  Each day will also include snacks and a recreation/game time.

 

Class choices are:

            Musical solfege                       Photography                Dance              Theater

 

Art: Water Color                                 Art: 3-D                       Art: Block Printing

 

Students who register by May 31 with fees paid will receive a special  FUM Kids T shirt at no additional charge.  These may NOT be available for students who register after May 31.  (all the shirts must be ordered at the same time)

 

There will be a special gathering on Friday, June 29 at 11:30 a.m. for the students to show off what they have learned during the week.  Hot dogs will be served for a snack lunch for everyone.
